Wow, two weeks in a row of bread pick up? You betcha!
There’s a reason for the bread pick up other than wanting to bake delicious bread for everyone! It may only be February but applications for farmers markets are already due. This year, we’re applying for the West Side Farmers Market which is Saturdays in West St. Paul. On top of that, we’ve also applied to a farmers market that is on a Sunday! The idea would be to alternate the markets, but hey, we’d be happy to be in any market!
So, the reason we’re doing another bake this weekend is to bake extra for the application of the Sunday farmers market. They’re asking for samples of a couple of our baked goods to determine who will sell items at their market. Ultimately, we’d be super excited to be in either market, so we should know in a few weeks!
That being said, we’ll be applying with “The Cat’s Meow” and chocolate chip sourdough scones! We love those two items and I know lots of people really like those too! So, here’s hoping the market likes them as well.
