Wowza, it’s been a long time since we posted about our goings on. Well, there have been some huge changes since we last posted in February/March. We sincerely apologize for the lack of communication, however, I think you’ll understand once I lay it all out.
The reason for the lack of communication is we moved! That’s right, we moved from our beloved east side St. Paul house of 5 years. We’ll forever cherish the time we’ve had there and starting our home bakery. However, once our son arrived last summer, we knew we were cramped and we wanted to be closer to family. So, we’re now in the northern cities metro, Andover!
The biggest benefit is having family around for help with our nearly 1 year. He’s a handful now and definitely need the extra hands to help! However, a nice added benefit has been…….

My own baking area!!! Yes you read that and see that correctly! Part of the garage on the house had this alcove that was more than likely used for some sort of storage. However, when I saw it, I knew exactly what that space was going to become.
There wasn’t any electrical to that area of the garage, specifically for my oven. So the father in law and I began the work of the electrical. Thankfully he’s got some hook ups in the construction business we we did the initial ground work and then had an electrician come in to finish it off with all the super technical/professional parts. Now we’re up and running, baby!
The space may look small, but it’s actually quite a nice area. We still have enough room for all this baking equipment, motorcycles, and cars. Very privileged to have this space and extremely thankful! Gotten a couple bakes in and definitely getting used to the flow of the area. I’ll definitely be making some changes whether it be different shelving, a mobile island for more counter space, and storage options.
It’s been a huge transition with life, family, a 1 year old, baking, work, and literally everything else. Baking has been taking a back seat the last two months. Now, I’m ready to get after it again.
Much like last year, we’re going to be going back to the west side St. Paul farmers market which kicks off June 7th. It was a blast last year and can’t wait to do it again, a bit more consistently! We’ll be hoping to go twice a month this season and will be unveiling some awesome new flavor combinations!
Stay tuned and we wanted to thank all those east siders who bought bread from us in the past. Twas truly an honor being an east side the past 5 years.
